There are various different kinds of osteopathy which mainly fall under classical, craniosacral and visceral categories.

Classical is the type that most people associate osteopathy with and involves soft tissue work, mobilisation, neuromuscular techniques and manipulation, with some remedial stretches and postural advice.

Craniosacral Osteopathy is a gentle unwinding of tension within the cranium and through the spinal cord and re - establishment of normal motion, helpful for babies but also any condition where dysfunction exists with this area.

Visceral techniques for congestion and adhesion with the tissues of the lungs, gut and kidneys.
